This took some deliberation, but I finally settled on the SNES as my favourite. 16-bit gaming rules!
The Dreamcast came a very close second, however...

After thinking about it, i would have to say the playstation. With a GREAT span of fantastic RPGs, adventures, puzzles, and many many games, the PSX comes in first!
2nd would be the NES. good good games.

Aww... Why isn't the Memorex VIS on that list??
It was a tough call between the Sega Master System and Sega Genesis, but I said the Genesis.

For me it HAS to be the TG16/Duo. The Genesis is a close second, but the TG16 is my ultimate 16 bit machine and the 16 bit era is my favorite era of all gaming.

It's definitely one of the 16-bit'ers. So many questions, so little time to think!
Hey, this is one of the biggest topics we've ever done... why split it into another thread?

PS there's also a "Best. Handheld. Ever" thread in the Classic Forums. Again, I urge our members to use the search feature and resurrect these topics if you have something to add... they're "timeless"!
