I'd say you didn't do too bad. $12 seems a little steep for shipping but I don't think you got raked. If I remember correctly Gamestop sells NES systems with one controller and SMB for about $50 so you didn't do too bad.

I never saw one before I went to a flea market in Austin last month for $50. The guy selling it couldn't get it to work, so I passed. I almost drove back up there the next weekend just to get it, but found this one instead. The controllers are really cool.
