Definitive List: Best Way to Clean Games

Alright, before this forum topic goes away, let's get a list of what everyone thinks are the best ways to clean/repair games for every system. I'm not going to put my own picks, since I know next to zip about it (which is why I'm posting the question). List the system, and then the method.

Open the games and clean with light grade sandpaper.

I always use a q tip (cotton swab) and warm water. Seems to work alright for me. If that doesn't work I will unscrew the cart and use an eraser on the contacts. I prefer an eraser with some stiffnes to it, like a crappy pencil eraser... you know, the ones that rips paper instead of erasing... well they work great on cleaning contacts.... at least for me.

Q-tip and rubbing alcohol usually works. I wouldn't recommend eraser method as it builds static electricity so it should be used as last resort. Sandpapering should also be used as last resort as it may strip the protective metal plate on the contact, and exposed metal like copper corrodes real easy.

Cleaning the cart port on the console's a major PITA if you don't have a cleaning wand. For most time, you can use any old credit card or similiar plastic cards and some heavy paper towel (like the blue disposable shop towel) soaked in rubbing alcohol and then repeatedly insert and remove the card until there's no more new black mark. get a dry sheet and dry the contact. Becareful when using it on a system with fine connectors like Gameboy, the tiny connector could snag on the tower and pull out, ruining the connector.

I also use sandpaper for NES games. Rubbing alcohol for SNES, Genesis and N64 games have never let me down. I have heard of some people using a dremel tool with a wire brush end for NES games as well, they say it works fine, but I will stick with my sandpaper.
