    Maybe. Is anything snapped off, as in pins broken off, cracked gears or housing, that sort of thing?

    Yeah one of the gears on the bottom of the CD lid is snapped off, look at the 2nd picture and compare it to the 3rd one. The system tends to reset on its own. I think after a period of time it lifts up off the spinner because it's loose to the lack on the gear.

    Ohhh Lord...

    The dreaded "Error 0002" black screen keeps appearing...
