Wow, the US Saturn turns 11 today

That fast huh? This day totally snuck up on me... I knew 5/11 sounded awfully familiar. Funny thing is, I remember posting the "7 year anniversary" post elsewhere, years ago. 4 in fact. Time flies!!

I've been playing games on my Saturn quite a bit over the last few weeks.

Most recently, Saturn Bomberman and Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter. Fun times.

Ahhh, Astal is great! Love the colors they put into it.

I guess I'll be playing some more Saturn today when I get home from work. I was playing some Bust-A-Move and Puzzle Fighter the other day. I guess tonight I'll be playing some Resident Evil or something.

I do have Super Puzzle Fighter on the saturn, but I usually play the playstation version to avoid the annoying slowdown.

Am I the only one who'll be playing Valora Valley Golf tonight? Has anyone else ever even played this game? It friggen rules. I've played over 1100 holes in the last two months (over 60 rounds of 18 holes) but I've never heard anyone else say anything about this game. Happy B-day Saturn, I love U!!!

Ah yes, the little slowdown bits on Saturn PF when things get too intense... it too disappointed me. Not enough to miff me like it does you, but it definitely take a good half point away from its overall score. (I would still however rate it 9-9.5/10... I really like it) Another quick thing on SAT/PS Puzzle Fighter... is it just me or does the PS version seem to be a lot easier to do "screen flashing finishes"? In SAT version it seems you have to really unleash a big combo to screen flash.

Anyhoo, I'll see if I can't sneak in some Sega Rally or something tonight.
