Default how to fix scratched n-gage screen?

I bought an ngage and 4 games for $20.

Problem is that there are a couple small scratches on the screen. Nothing major, you can't even see it while playing games, but I can see them with the ngage turned off.

I've got some CD scratch remover. It's a white liquid that you buff on, leave on for a few minutes, and buff off. (I assume this stuff is the most common type).

Would this work on the ngage screen? Is there a better way to remove small scratches?

I would suggest you just leave it. Go to Best Buy and get a screen cover, so it can't get any worse. If it doesn't affect the game play, I would say it probably isn't worth the "risk."

nokia sells replacement faceplates. i picked one up at EB for .99. you can also find some cheap knock-offs. either way you get a new screen in the process.

Yep, the face plate is removable and replacements generally cost about a buck...

As for actually removing the scratch however, i would recomend using the scratch remover that auto parts stores sell for reconditioning the plastic windows for convertables. I don't know the name of the stuff, but it works fine on handheld screens.

But i would just buy a new faceplate to be honest.
