N64 expansion pack question

I had one that did that.Make sure the posts are connecting.Come to find out on mine, the N64 stopped regestering that it was in there, the same for the rumble packs. I had to switch the core unit out with a console only that I had got at an auction. Hope this helps and you don't need to do that.

Give all the contacts on the N64 and the RAM Pak a good cleaning.

I'll 2nd the cleaning notion. They are just like game carts that get dirty. Give it a really good cleaning and you should be good to go.

Yep, clean those contacts. The N64 is pretty picky about that in the expansion slot. Also, if it isn't in exactly right, it will pull that crap.
