    Good interview.

Seems like a good guy, was particulary interested by how much that bug bothered him.

I mean, the bug was obscure enough that it's not like it would occur that often, and he even admits that he wasn't given time to fully bug test the game, yet that still haunts him.

So much so that it detracts from his feeling any pride about his accomplisments in creating it....nice to see someone with such concern for the qulaity of their work.

Yeah, I thought that too when I read it for the first time. Somehow I am even feeling bad that noone can help him. The bug is there and will always be there. Nevertheless, I think he SHOULD be pride for that good game.

Good interview, I always liked the INTV version better than the 2600 version.

Quite informative. The InTV version is my favorite one too. It looks better than the other consoles versions and from what I remember it plays better than the computer versions.

Aw, dang, I was always hoping Beezer would surface. Did he at least say how far he got before failing?

Thanks for posting! Cool interview. I suppose if some INTV programmer was motivated enough they could fix the Demon Attack bug for him
I was thinking the same thing. I bet it would give him some peace, for sure. Anybody know someone who could take a look? Maybe the Blue Sky Ranger dudes could take a look.

That was a great interview. I'm glad one of the old school programmers could take some time to reminisce on his great creation.

I'm pretty sure that's not Beezer... It doesn't loo, like the action or characters in it match the arcade game.

There IS a screen mockup in one of the Imagic catalogs which DID look a lot like the arcade Beezer; if you can find that catalog, you'll see what I mean.

I see from the interview epilogue that it's NOT Beezer according to Gary, so that confirms it.

Thanks for posting the interview, it was a very interesting read. I've never played the INTV version, but I'm thinking about picking it up after the article.

Darn cool interview, and the guy that made the best version of Demon Attack - IMHO. That game just totally kicks butt!

Of course, I haven't played it in a while, but I used to play it a lot when it came out (Yeah, I'm getting old). Very addictive thing it is.

    Concerning Atlantis...

in my youth in 1983 I made it three times ītil this strange and somehow disappointing end.

You have to play a long time!

Like the manual says... when you made it a while the oppenents get mixed in their attack waves. These mixed waves (if I remember it correctly) you have to face several times... and then finally this strange purple line or graphic symbol appears and ends all.
