I do wonder on alot of the older games (especially the first 3d games) that came out in the early 90's is if they would be still playable if I played them on a tv which came out during the era. I play on my 32" tv which isn't that much better but back then I played on a 20" and I think a 13". The anti-aliasing of a small scrunched up screen would make a difference like Crash-N-Burn and Tomb Raider.
I do notice that alot of 2D sprite game are still playable on a bigger screen. I tend to play those more now than the early 3D.

I could be totally be off base if it was due to the controls. (Strafe, Look, Jump) was a heck of alot different then too which I have a hard time with now BUT I did rock in those days.
