Default FS: Custom made Xbox Metal Slug arcade stick, and MS3/4&

For whatever its worth, These items are being sold as one unit only.

For the Metal Slug fan who may want that extra something for their Xbox, I have an excellent group of goodies that most definitely will pique your interest.

First up is my custom-built Xbox arcade stick that features a Metal Slug X theme (known artwork that was manipulated to a high-definitition black and white). I went for a gunmetal theme with this stick and it looks slick (too slick) IMO.

    http://img56.imageshack.us/img56/5021/slug10gq.jpg

Everything outside of the select/back (left side, Happs competition button) and start (right side, Happs competition button) buttons are made from genuine Sanwa arcade parts.

The stick is using an octagonal gate (allows for smooth rotational movements as opposed to the square gate that came with it which I switched out). The six face buttons are using arcade quality Sanwa buttons, and the first two top and bottom buttons mirror the four main X, Y, B, A buttons found on the Xbox Controller S pad. The last two top and buttom buttons are the Black and White buttons. The start button is on the right side of the stick and the select/back button on the left side.

The body is made out of solid wood (don't what kind, sorry, but it sure is very sturdy and gives a healthy and resounding "thud" if you knock on it) and the PCB guts are made out of an official Xbox Controller S pad that I had the builder go buy for me at the time of contructing it. Just for kicks, I had him wire the one memory card port slot so that I could use my headset while playing fighting games online (yeah, I thought of everything).

The stick was built around this same time last year and I didn't even use it that much out side a few (10-20) matches of Capcom Vs. SNK 2 and King of Fighters 2002/2003 every month or so for the past 10 months. Of course, I used em to play the Metal Slug games as well!

What you see is what you get.

    Metal Slug 3
    Metal Slug 4&5 Collection
Metal Slug X (for the PSX)

All three games are in tip top condition and include everything that came with em.

I'm selling all of this for $170 (thats how much the stick cost me to build, just a fun fact) shipped (priority mail with insurance).

Your payment options are paypal or a US money order.

As always, PM me if you're seriously interested in buying this.

    Thank you.

I also throw in extra goodies with my sales now. The last guy got a random anime DVD (Oh My Goddess Vol.2) and the Best of Conway Twitty CD (Ha! Ha!)

    What will you get?

Sadly, I am broke at the moment. If not I would jump on this in a second. That arcade stick looks amazing!

So I'm giving you a free bump! Nice work man!

I'm kinda confused, why would you tell us not to ask what kind of wood it was made out of?

    ????

I don't remember saying not to ask, but I did say I really don't know what wood type the stick builder used for me. Its pretty damn solid though and its most definitely not particle board either.

Sorry about the late response too, works been busy and I haven't had time to check back in here.

Since it seems this is turning into the most hardest sale that I've had yet around here, I'm offering one more deal(s) before I call it quits with this item combo of mine.

    1. Same price ($150 shipped) but with two random anime DVDs (legit R1 of course, and one of them will be a movie and the other one will be a one-shot story deal of something) thrown in.

    or

    2. $140 shipped.

    Alright then!

Here's the stick I got in it: Sanwa JLF-TP-8Y

    http://www.himuragames.com/images/joystick_8Y_03.jpg

I switched out the square gate for an octagonal one though, but I think I still have it somewhere.

All of the parts that are in that stick were bought from this place:

Also, to those who were interested what the arcadestick's body is made out of, its pine.
