Default Best Lightguns for Sega Saturn?

I want to get some Lightguns to play some HOTD and Virtua Cop. Whats out there that you have used that works well?

I use the official blue gun for VirtuaCop. Works fine for me.

I use the Saturn Stunners as well, and while they don't even begin to compare to being as accurate as the GunCon on the Playstation, they're still nice little controllers. They feel really good and I've been using the same two guns for ~10 years now without a hitch.

On a sidenote, I wish House of the Dead would receive a port to a more modern system (like as part of the 3D Sega Ages line). It's always been my favorite of the series and it makes me sad to see HotD2 get whored out like crazy while HotD is quietly forgotten about.

Yeah, me too. I love the original HotD1. Wasn't HotD2 a bonus unlockable game on HotD3 or something like that? The Saturn port of HotD1 plays great and I love the bonus guns and characters but man it looks like ass. You can tell the developers either ran out of time (Virtua Cop 2 looked great) or just plain sucked. Still not as bad as Death Crimson, though. The PC version of the original HotD1 has GOT to look better but it's just not the same as playing it on a console.
Thanks for indulging my gaming habit when I was young, Dad. You were the best. I miss you. ~David Barnes 1926-2007~

Sega Stunner Light guns. Whenever possible, use the official perhiferals. However, in the case of joysticks, use the Hori Fighting Sticks SS instead of the Virtua Sticks, unless you have Virtua Sticks Pro.

Lunar Light Guns here. Not the newer ones with the "Guncon-like" connector, but the old one with dual Saturn/PSX connectors. Good stuff, but hard to track down these days.

I prefer the Lunar gun as well. My favorites are Virtua Cop 2 and Area 51. A lot of people don't like area 51, but I think it looks good and plays great. I can't stand House of the Dead as the graphics are so horrible it makes me want to jab my eyes out.

The official stunner is pretty good but a tad too heavy for my liking. Start to hurt my arms after a while.
