Default How much would a near mint Ogre Battle SNES guide fetch?

    As the topic states..

Does anyone know how much one of these sells for? I can only find 1 on ebay with a buy it now of $99, but somehow I think that is high. Any guesses?

    Thanks,
    Carl

EDIT: Sorry, I thought you meant N64.

There's one currently listed in 'very good' condition at Half.com for $50.

I picked up a couple of copies years ago when Amazon was clearing them out. It might be time to find them a new home.

Wow, that's a pretty expensive guide. What does it include that on-line sources can't help you with is my curriosity.

    $99 is high.

But as high as $50 wouldn't shock me. Guides for RPGs and strategy games usually go for a very high amount.

Probably not a WHOLE LOT, but guides have always been popular with classic gamers/collectors. I guess people love that tangible aspect of a guide and love its color pages and descriptions of gameplay. I personally like guides too, but many of them are way too pricey for my blood.

Funny part is the Secret of Mana guide is black and white and only has about 8-10 color pages in the middle!

It is the only guide I know of (that is regularly sought after) that is not full color.

yeah I looked after that guide for a while but it always went for 15-20, sometimes more. Way out of my price range...

The official guide for Phantasy Star IV doesn't have any full-color pics (if you exclude the front/back covers). Overall, I found it somewhat disappointing.
