Default Tec Toy Zillion & Master System. When released?

Always at work for my book, I am tryng to understand when did Tec Toy begun to distribute Sega stuff.

The 18/09/1987 Tec Toy is founded.
    Then they take Sega's licence.

On the net I've found that in 1988 they produced the Zillion gun "The model of this gun was later used for the Master System's light gun: the Light Phaser." But the Light Phazer was already available?!?!?

In 1989 they begun to distribute the Master System. WTF? They first distributed the guns then the consoles???

Anyone can help me? Maybe there is an interesting site about Tec Toy, I don't know.
    I am becoming mad.

    thanks!!!

The Zillion gun was a laser-game, not a video game. Basically, it was like cowboys and indians, only each player wore a sensor vest which sensed the light beams fired by the guns. Sega's games for the MS were based on this toy, which also spawned an animated series.

Yeah, are you familiar with Lazer Tag? That's basically what Zillion was in Japan. The anime series was known as "Ray Tracer Zillion." The Zillion gun in the anime series, game, SMS Light Phaser, and original Lazer Tag type sets are all identical in terms of physical design.

...and later Sega came back to the laser-gun market with the Lock-On. Thanks!
