Default Pics from the Classic Computer and Gaming Show! (56k)

well i just got back from the show and it was great! i have uploaded some pics below and at the very end is a video for you to click on of me modeling off the original pong arcade machine that they had there! also when you get a chance, check out their website at www.ccagshow.com

ill start off of course with a digital press members pic! we were 11 strong there from ohio to florida! (im the one kneeling in the front with the gray shirt on)

next is a pic right before the show started of all the vendors at the show.

now on with the show! this is the main hall it was held in and this is the right half of the building.......

    .......and the left half.

here is an average shot of a vendors wares.

video game connection had arcade games and slot machines for sale......

.......and this is the one they gave away in the drawing!

the world of nintendo display was awesome!

a representative from starcade tv was there as well!

if you remember a while back drwily008 held a contest to find a logo for his new ganme store (which mcbacon ended up winning) well the store is finally off the ground and it all started here!

and here is a cheap plug for his store!

here is gameroom magazine selling various books and they gave out free arcade game tokens with their website on them!

want to play super mario bros.?

here is the original pong machine that i spoke of which was fully playable at the show!

and here is the video of me showing off said pong machine (click on the pic)

all in all it was a great time and you couldnt beat the admission price...free! it was only an hour and a half drive for me so it wasnt too bad and people came from all over. drwily even drove 20+ hours from florida to get there! if you missed it this year try to get there next year and you wont regret it!

I'm in the VB shirt, you like it don't you .
Well I know I had a good time and sold ~$126 of stuff and only had 1/3 of the money left afterwards.
The best things for me were that I sold all my C64 stuff for $50 and I picked up a ROB with all the Gyromite things for $10. I got 2 clocks from Sniderman and they are great. The only thing I missed was a brand new Sega CD 1 for $20 sold by drwily008, which he was next to me.
The only thing I hate is that they are going to move it next year and I only live 15 minutes from Lorain .

Don't think of me as a youngn' just a collector that learned his basics from a Pico.
I just like that tingling feeling in my eyeballs when I play VB.
I am looking for a Mini Neo Geo 2- slot 13".

Soooo pissed I wasn't able to make it. I was going to bite the bullet and bring the kids when I found out that my eldest had a soccer game at 7 that night. Glad a good time was had by all.

Nobody knows they just know it may happen because the place they had it was packed and no more room for other people to setup.
I was going to ask what he wanted for it but I thought he would want ~$60 and I did not need it.

The shirt was my mother's cause she worked at Sears at that time so I have the shirt, hat, pen and a light display sign. The VB that I have is even from Sears but I bought it at a flea market. I'll buy the jacket off you.

Cool pictures Joe, I just got back to Florida from my trip to Ohio. I had lots of fun and got to meet some really cool people.

I was VERY satisfied with the trip and will try very hard to go next year.

I got some really cool items (my favorites were the Neo-Geo games and the 5 Game & Watches).

Thanks to everyone for being so accomadating!
