    Default Half.com Game Pricing

I figured I'd try half.com to find some dreamcast games that I'd like, and some rare ones according to the guide. Anyway, after doing a search for dreamcast games, I make the page list the games according to prices. For example, on the low end, is Tennis 2K2 SEALED for $.75 + $4 shipping. On the top end, there's Project Justice BRAND NEW for $218, and the used games go for $96! I checked the rarity guide, and it shows this game as a "4" and getting $26 complete. I guess my question is, are the prices on half.com too good to be true (Tennis 2k2) or just insane (Project Justice.)

those prices are setup by the actual sellers, the high end prices are mostly misinformed people, or people hoping some idiot will think the game in question is really worth that much (sadly it works more then you'd think it does)
snap up the cheap ones when you see em though, stupidity works both ways after all :-)

I saw KOF: EX2 for the GBA, sealed, for like $90.

Many, but not all, half.com sellers are worse than eBay scammers.

I think I'm one of the few half.com supporters left. You can still get some great stuff there, but it's true that some of the really great deals get cancelled by the seller (or never confirmed). I've personally *never* been scammed, as in, my money was taken and I never got the item, but I have had many orders never get processed due to non-performance by the seller.

It's worthy of a look, and it's still a great place to buy/sell textbooks.

I am big supporter of Half.com, but the best deals I get on there are for books. I've often bought popular uncommon books for less than four dollars, sometimes for even less than one dollar! But indeed, the deals are only as good as those who are offering the items, and most "professional video game sellers" are not as good as the book sellers. The game sellers often have a huge ego and think they "know what games are worth" and thus list the games for unrealistic numbers.

One can still get good game deals on there, but it depends on the game. Things are still much better than eBay though, as you can get your money back if you don't receive the item(s).
