    Default Gradius Collection for PSP

Anyone have this yet? I'd like to hear some impressions. I'm still waiting for the local Wal-Mart to get it in, as I'm not paying an extra $10 at EB.

MSRP is $30, EB is just trying to milk more money out of it. Wal-Mart, Target and other big chains aren't as bad about it. I don't feel like driving 15 minutes out of the way when the Wal-Mart down the street will get it soon.

    I don't have a Fry's either, I wish I did.

yeah I too picked this up, and so far there is minimal load times, and I too have seen some slow down, even though I remember reading somewhere, they were advertising, NO SLOW-DOWN..lol, anyway its well worth it for 5 great shooters.

Isn't there an option that lets you adjust the amount of slowdown between none and arcade-exact? It might be labeled as "Wait" in the options menus or something.

picked my copy up today from best buy for 24 bucks and some change after discount. 30 bucks retail at best buys, how much is it at EB's?

I finally managed to find a store that had this for $30 (FYE). If you are a fan of any Gradius game, then this is well worth it. The audio is great, and so are the visuals. As far as portable Shooters go, I don't think they can get any better.

Yes, there was a wait option in at least a couple of the Gradiuses (Gradii? ). I was wondering what that was.

Got it. Great game(s)! I finally got to take Luminies out of the PSP. Oh yeah Gradius forces firmware update.

The collection has all the difficulties defaulted to easy. I guess Konami is trying to cater to American casual players. I spent like 20 minutes adjusting the options for each individual game.

I found it is harder to play in bright areas. I had several unnecessary deaths as i had difficulty seeing in well lit areas.

Tell me about it. I first played Gradius Gaiden, and I knew I did way too well for my first try. Naturally, when I looked, it was on easy along with the rest of the games. The only visual problem I had though, was seeing my own bullets occasionally.
