    Default Live-action kung-fu 3DO game on the PC spotted

    I saw today a game at the local pawn shop in the PC game section for a few dollars (I think) that was by 3DO. It still had a minty cover and plastic wrap and when reading the description and the screen shots it's a live action sequence game that consists of kung-fu! It came out in the Win95 era and comes in a long, narrow box that opens like an old PS case, but is cardboard/thick paper. I tried to recall the game name and instead looked it up up with my description and by 3DO but couldn't find it. Anyone know the game I'm talking about and if they've played it if it's worth picking up? I don't generally buy older computer games because there's just too many random good & bad things that I'm better to invest in a consule title I know is worth it.

    Supreme Warrior by Digital Pictures?

    Never played it myself...

    Wait, you said it was by 3DO. I don't know, then.

    I had it but then I looked at your avatar and lost it. Nice
    Sorry kind of off topic.

    I know which one you're talking about.. I have it. The 3DO box has a big Yin/Yang symbol on the front.

    <goes to look>

    Way of the Warrior!

    Don't think I've ever even tried it out. The game characters are the motion captured FMV part.. but as I recall the backgrounds are digitized. It actually get's fairly good reviews and is somewhat rare.. but everyone says it's corny as hell. The characters are actually the game designers.

    If it's live action it's definitely Supreme Warrior. Is it worth picking up? Ehh. If you're having a few buddies over for some laughs, sure. Not much of a game though.

    I may be mistaken.. but I don't remember Supreme Warrior being relased for the 3DO (It could have been though.. especially if it's a Digital Pictures game as they DID release a few of their games for the 3DO). Also.. I don't recall DP ever releasing PC ports of their games.

    It is Supreme Warrior and I could have sworn it said PC/Windows on the back with the 3DO logo on the front, just like what's on Moby Games website. Linky:

    I love that game...even though I don't think I ever managed to land a punch even once. Woop!
