    Default monopoly for n64

    hey I got a quick Q.on the back of the box it shows the game with $ for the currency and the same properties as the board game but when I play the game the currency is brittish pounds and the names of the properties you can buy are different.I dont have the manual for the game so I cant find how to change it to us $ Its not in the game options or anywhere that I can find.The code on the front of the game says usa and its not pal because it plays on my ntsc system fine .Is there anyway to change it?

    I'm pretty sure when you first turn the game on it has a lanuguage selection screen (I think it displays a few flags) and based on the language chosen that's the currency used. I had a customer a couple of years ago with the same problem and that's what I remember from then.

    ok thanks mike looks like I will have to take the battery out so I can reset it.

    i just did a quick search and came up with this that might help:

    "On the menu screen, if you hold down Z and start and press B a menu to
    choose between UK and US monopoly appears UK monopoly is in pounds
    and has all different names and cards."
