As someone who has done a huge amount of research into the Amiga version, I will state that I do not believe that version was ever commercially released. No box scans exist of it anywhere, and the ROM that exists by novotrade does not match the screenshots on the back of the CVPC box, which shows the Commodore/PC/Amiga versions.

    http://dinosaur-act.ath.cx:8000/cpg/...lbum=247&pos=1

This ad exists, but shows no different screenshots than the back of the Castlevania PC box. Furthermore, a ROM dump of the version actually advertised does not exist. Only the Novotrade version, which looks vaguely like the PC version, but is quite arguably the worst Castlevania game ever made. My suspicion is that the Amiga version was canned before it even hit the shelves.

I still have hope there WAS an Amiga version actually sold, but until I see box/disk scans I will remain extremely skeptical.

    Hung this up today:

Looks better hung then I expected! Its been in a roll for 2 years now XD. You can get these surprisingly cheap now on Ebay too.

Also found some lost high res shots I took originally:

    Castlevania 1 versions

    Haunted Castle

    Some of the others

Residentvania and Mills, your collections are quite nice too.
Thank you for the kind words. I've been trying to get as much castelvania stuff as I can find. For some reason I feel it would be really awesome to have a ton of vania stuff.

Although I rarely like to buy games from ebay or through any online means, I feel alot better finding the game extremely cheap in a dusty old store. Thats why its harder for me to find the more rare titles.

I had all the NES versions but I sold them for alot more than I paid for them. They can be acquired again very easily.

Dracula X I got for free from a friend.
The gameboy titles i got for 5 dollars each. Mint too.
CV IV I got complete and super mint for only 14 dollars shipped.

The rest from best buy, walmart etc. Right now I really wnat legends. I would LOVE to get all the older ones complete. I love seeing gameboy games boxed.

I understand the desire to collect the old fashion way, digging through bins and looking through glass cases, wiping dirt off covers in a dirty swap meet box. Its fun to work to find your stuff.

I collected most of my NES Black label carts this way, I only got Stack Up and Gyromite off Ebay.

Now to sell this little collection..

That is amazing, especially considering how collectable (read: expensive!) Castlevania is. Nice work!

I'm only just getting really into the series now. Woe is me. :P

Kid Dracula doesnt have any relation with Castlevania, does it? I have the GB version.

    EDIT: Found this with Google

Kid Dracula is a very weak link to the Castlevania series...a label on the cart that I own even calls it "Castlevania Jr." It has very little to do gameplay wise to the CV series, even though music from it was featured in the Dracula Music Collection CD that came with Dracula X: Nocturne in the Moonlight for the Playstation.
I wouldnt count it as a CV game tho. Like i dont count Cannon Spike and Capcom VS SNK as a Mega Man game because he is in the games.

It does in a few odd ways. Kid Dracula is actually supposed to be a young Alucard. Additionally, Galamoth from Symphony of the Night had his first appearance in the Famicom version.

BTW, are you willing to sell or trade that gameboy kid drac?

Not horribly hard, no. But you cant blame me for trying

Rockman Strategy? Hahaha, I could hold a small ransom for that game if I had that.

My Famicom version should get here in a week, Ill have to live with that for now ^_^

Ah sweet! I just asked because i have no idea how rare the GB version is. I just got it in a GB bundle some months ago, never really looked for it. I remember a friend bought this game when it was fairly new, was cool to play

Hehe, so you have heard of Rockman Strategy eh?

I heard it was awful. Ive seen the info and sprites on Gauntlet's page...

You must be a really dedicated Rockman/Megaman collector to want that!

It has the distinction of being the only Rockman game where Wily builds a tentacle rape saucer, at least.

Would you mind scanning that review in? Im very interested in this. Were the screenshots shown from the Novotrade version or the one shown on the box and ad?

    Any info is appreciated greatly.

I don't mean to start a fight, but there is NO evidence that supports this claim. Kid Dracula is never referred to as Alucard. It's a pet peeve of mine.

Yes, it's got Dracula. And yes, it's his son. But still. :P

    No offense taken. =)

Castlevania or not, I really love the Boku Dracula kun games.

And that is Galamoth in the end, right?

That's an awesome collection. How long did it take for you to get everything?
