Yeah, 32x cartridges were 2-4 megabytes (16-32mbit). As for the audio, hey, the Genesis was very capable, I'd give it a chance especially with the extra 32x channels.Originally Posted by Arasoi

An interesting development to be sure. I have to wonder if internal politics with Iga will keep the KCET Sega Saturn additions (playable Maria, Underground garden, Cursed Prison, etc) from being added in to this version.Originally Posted by MarkMan
Where did this come from?? Dammit, now I'm going to want a 360. I was hoping that it took longer for a game that I had to have. Crap.Originally Posted by Arasoi
I'm hoping they do some upgrades to SOTN on the 360 also, but more importantly, I'm hoping they'll get it to look a little more like Dawn of Sorrow with updated graphics and whatnot. How sweet would that be if they put some kind of multiplayer option in the game, I don't know how they'd do that but anything is possible. SOTN is going to be the best XBLA game to come out definately, sure would beat frogger any my books.
Since Iga himself requested Maria be added to the Saturn version...why not?Originally Posted by Arasoi
Really the reason that the Saturn version sucks is because they didn't get enough time to work on it. It'd be cool if they included the Saturn soundtrack as an alternate, though.
I didnt know he requested it, that gives us a good chance of getting her in there at least, if not the other goods as well =)
So the Dungeon tells me, should be in a recent thread.
IIRC the article stated that the game will be the PS1 version.
When is SOTN coming out
Early 2007 on the Xbox Live service, I believe.
3 Questions
1. I'm playing Drac X on the Saturn..in Sound test what track is the Castlevania 3 Remix
2. On the XBLA one will it have the CV3 Remix
3. What is Tranparant Effect
1. The Castlevania 3 remix tracks are of "The Beginning" they should be fairly easy to pick out because of their melody, I dont recall their specific track #s.Originally Posted by MarioMania
2. Unknown, the article seems to state that its the PS1 version so doubtful, we'll see.
3. Im not sure what you're asking. A transparency effect is when you can see through or partially see through a sprite or background layer. If this is in reference to the Saturn vs PSX versions of SOTN, then the Saturn has no such effects, it was all badly converted to 2d dithering effects, while the PSX version had actual transparency effects.
