Somebody once told me to get a life.
I told them I sold it for money to buy video games.
I've got one. I haven't downloaded any new games in ages so I don't know what's available. It's ok I guess, compared to the black and white Gameboy. All the games are free to download so that's cool.

Think Gameboy Pocket on Steroid OD with a built in keyboard.
I never bothered to pick one up though, don't know anyone local that has it.

Good Will on Averill had some over the summer, you might still be able to find some straglers. At the time they were going for $15 each SIB though.Originally Posted by CrazyImpmon
I never got mine to pull a proper charge and work. Is there something I'm missing, how did you do it GENESISNES? I swear I'm following the instructions, but no go.

i tried testing it from my house to my friends, and i dont even think it reached that far.

Nope, and I charged it overnight. I'm wondering if I need to start searching for a new rechargable. I think they were only made for close range though, like class rooms, or parks, etc.Originally Posted by GENESISNES
Might help ya:
1.)what kind of cybiko is it? regular, or xtreme?
2.)if its xtreme, make sure u have the usb connector plugged into the AC adaptor, then to the cybiko. Turn it on, if it doesnt work , then i suggest new cybiko, because it should work when plugged in.
3.)if light doesnt go on when plugged in, new cybiko is my suggestion
4.) if you have the regular, just make sure its plugged in with whatever connector you have. if it doesnt turn on, new cybiko.

Which store was it, the As-Is store that looks like disorganized flea market or the Retail store where it's more clean and organized but overpriced? I'll have to check them out next time I'm in that area. It's about 40 minutes drive from my place to Southeast side of Flint.Originally Posted by Achika

I think I remember from the commerical that it only like 30ft or something crappy like that.
My friend got one on eBay for $30,loved it for like am onth and I have yet to see it since.I only played pool on it,but it was cool.
I had the same problem when I first got mine. IIRC, I had it in sleep mode when I first tried charging it and that's why it didn't get charged up right. Make sure it's turned off all the way. The instructions for how to charge it aren't very clear. They make it sound like your supposed to have it turned on when you plug it in to charge it.Originally Posted by Achika
I just looked at Cybikos website for the first time in over a year just to see what's new. A lot of the games look like the same ones I had way back then. They must count every revision they release of a game as a NEW game release. Their on like rev. 21.4.5.6 of some old Space Invaders clone I had a year and half ago.
Retail. I'm coming home next week for a few days from NYC, I'm planning on hitting that store and the two salvation army's in the area. I'll PM you if I see one or something.Originally Posted by CrazyImpmon
To all others~ thanks, I'm gonna try all these suggestions when I get back to the "system" next week.
You need to take the batteries out and clean the contacts with a pencil eraser. Put them back in and let it charge overnight (with the unit on). If that doesn't work, I have a 1-800 number you can call to get replacement batteries.I never got mine to pull a proper charge and work.
I have two of the 'classic' Cybikos, pretty neat gizmo in their day. I have a blue one (I ordered clear, but Staples sent blue) that I got shortly after they were released for around $80, mostly becuase of the free MP3 player adapter they offered with a rebate. (most mp3 players were more than $80 with no memory then). I got a clear one when they clearanced them at Staples for $10. Around 300 foot range, depending on conditions.
