Default Gobliiins, Gobliins 2, & Goblins Quest 3

Anyone else have mad love for this series? I remember playing these sierra gems for hours and finally resorting to UHS (Universal Hint System) for some parts that I personally deemed impossible. It was one of those games where the puzzles ranged from "Duh" to "WTF are the developers on crack?" Point & Click fanatics, if you haven't played these, go acquire them, it's worth it.Here are some screenshots to jog your memory:

    Gobliiins

    Gobliins 2

    Goblins Quest 3

I played Goblins 2 a lot when I was a kid, I'm really a sucker for those classic Sierra titles.

Whoops! Haven't seen that in awhile, that was my fault. Forum settings adjusted!

First time I've seen it referred to as Goblins Quest 3. Maybe that's the Euro-only title?

Support for the first Gobliiins was recently added to ScummVM.

Could be, I always thought it was called that though! Looks like the packaging says "quest" and the title screen just says "Goblins 3" I think they changed the packaging to coincide with their popular Police, King's, and Space "Quest" series.

OMG thanks for the memory jog! I played Gobliins 2 I don't think I ever got very far in that game, I sucked at the puzzles.

BUMP! Found this one from the grave, and decided to start getting back into these again. Anyone still play/have these?

EDIT: Looks like all THREE have been certified compatible for SCUMMVM!

Y'know, Gobliiins 4 was released a while ago. And depending on where you buy it from (Impulse, for instance), it even includes the other three games. (Best to wait for it to go on sale, as it inevitably will.)

Haha, I remember those! I used to just leave the goblins alone and watching them do all sorts of random stuff, when they eventually got bored.

Gobliins 2 and Goblins 3 are two of my favorite PC games of all-time. I've played the hell out of both, several times. The unique cartoon atmosphere and "speech patterns" of the characters really make for a zany time.

The complete soundtracks to both games can be downloaded from the Ad Lib music archive, recorded directly from the OPL2 chip using special hardware.

Don't forget "The Bizarre Adventures of Woodruff and the Schnibble." I bought it a year or two ago, and after all these years of wondering about it, I didn't like it once I played it. Anyone here a fan?

I played the first one quite a bit, but the puzzles were just ridiculously frustrating. Things often made no sense whatsoever. On the very first screen you had to punch a stone pillar to make a horn fall off a skull that was mounted on it... then you had to blow that horn to make a stick fall off a tree. Like, really? Hard puzzles are one thing, but none of that even makes any sense.
