    Default Odyssey 4000... $125...?

Strolled into an old vintage shop yesterday, asked if they had any video game stuff, the guy pointed to a wall that had more copies of Mario 1 and Various sports games (a total of 4 different games, all with 40 copies each) than you could shake a stick at... noticed an Odessey 4000 tucked away and asked the man for a price... he called some one on my cell who replied $125... wtf... is that reasonable? i believe i paid $12.50 for my 300 on ebay... or did i just luck out?

    That's way, way, way overpriced.

I think I got my 4000 3-4 years ago for all of $7. I mean, it's a neat system, interesting stepping stone between the Odyssey dedicated consoles and the Odyssey2 (check out the joystick design if you get a chance), but not $125 worth of interesting.

It sure does give good Pong though!

Wow...way overpriced. I don't think I've ever payed over $20 for a Pong system and I have about 20 of them. Most of them at flea markets go for $5-10 in my experience. I think I got my 4000 for $5. But of course, your mileage may vary...

Is it me, or should Pong systems never be over $20? I've just never seen it happen in the wild, but I never have checked eBay on them before.
