Default Best 72 pin connectors to buy?

I have several NES systems I am working on and was wondering what are the best quaility connectors and where I can buy them. This is my first repair on a NES and I just want to make sure I get the best parts.

Myself and many others prefer to keep the same connector and refurbish it. Many people use sandpaper and various cleaning agents to clean the connectors. I get satisfactory performance from simply bending the pins of the connector to provide a tighter fit.

How do you go about bending the pins back?

    Is there a tutorial anywhere?

EDIT: I did some more looking and found a couple of examples of bending the pins, so I am going to give it a shot.
