Were both of the Super Off Road games rereleased by Majesco? I ask this because the copies I have of these games were Assembled in Mexico, but I don't have their manuals. I though all Assembled in Mexico carts were Majesco, but I may be wrong

I know Super Off-Road: The Baja got a Majesco re-release. Another game missing from the list is The Jungle Book.

Also, it should be noted that Frogger isn't an SNES re-release since Majesco published the only version of it.

It's been mentioned in previous Majesco threads, but it might be helpful to repeat here - a few methods of telling a Majesco SNES re-release:
    1) non-glossy cart label
    2) black and white manual
    3) warning text on the back of the cart is printed in the plastic itself, instead of a being a sticker.

My Super Battleship, Jurassic Park, and Animaniacs carts have the back warning imprinted in the plastic, so I suppose those are majesco rereleases. So does my copy of Earthworm Jim 2, which also has a black and white manual that says "Distributed by Majesco Sales" on the back.

In order to make sure that this list is 100% correct, we can do this:

When someone identifies that a Majesco cart ot TH Q cart exists of a regular release, another DP member will comfirm it based on the fact that they have the same cart.

One identifies and the other will comfirm.

If you post a pic it will be considered self-confirmed.

I found these titles in my collection.
These came with the engraved back labels.

    Animaniacs
    MTV's Beavis and Butt-head
    Clue
    Super Godzilla

These didn't but fit the other critiria.

Battletoads/ Double Dragon: The Ultimate Team
    Mutant Chronicles: Doomtroopers
    Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story
    Porky Pig's Haunted Mansion

All have "assembled in Mexico" and the non-gloss label.
Confirmed titles wil be listed in blue in the first post.

Can anyone confirm that Indiana Jones' Greatest Adventures has JVC and TH Q releases? I have the JVC release.[/list]

Alright then, I'll self-confirm Super Off Road:

EDIT:Oh, and in case you want to know, Frogger carts have all the evidence of being Majesco rereleases, but they can't be simply because Majesco released the cart themselves, and because it was the last game ever released for the SNES, so it couldn't be a reprint.

What release of Super Star Wars has no logo on the label where the JVC and Million Seller logos are? Is it THQ? Also, I have heard it mentioned in at least one other thread that Majesco re-released the Star Wars series. Is that true or was that person confused with THQ?

And how did you get pic to be so good I couldn't get those Majesco carts to take a good pic for nothing. My pics of other carts are always good.

Honestly, I have no real clue. The only thing different that I did that I could think of is standing up the cart on my computer desk rather than have it lying down. But even then, most of my other pics are done in the latter manner, so I really don't know. Sorry .

Your missing Clue, Earthworm Jim 2, and Super Battleship. All three Star Wars titles were rereleased by Majesco. Check your rereleases, it will say right on the back on the manual that Majesco did the rerelease.

I noticed that John Madden 93 has two different labels. The writing on the top of the carts is the only thing that is different. One says "John Madden Football" and the other says "John Madden Football '93".

I remember a thread like this a few years back, about varients, it helps out collectors alot thou, cuz sometimes having so many games and finding you have double but there both two different versions, Grrrrrr!

So it helps to know which games had re-releases different codes etc.

This is the first attempt to put them all together for collectors like you and me. I'm learning a lot and I hope that others are too.

you can add battletoads in battlemaniacs to the list - just found a majesco of that.

Here's a pic of the back showing the 'assembled in mexico' notation that is on majesco copies
