This is probably about the cheapest you will find them...those things are expensive as heck.

PlayAsia is pretty much the only place you're gonna find them now though.

Ito: I would recommend waiting until the Wii gets released. We may get lucky and find that the digital video port on the Wii is the same as the one on the Cube. If so, then you will be able to grab a set much more cheaply.

You can get them for $65 form NCSX, so about the same as PA.

Yeah I heard about that possibly happening. I have one so I am good. My buddy just bought an HDTV and I told him it is a must for gamecube on HDTV. So I would like to find him one for a fair price.

i am so happy that i picked my set up back when they were still $35 from nintendo.com and were readily available.....you would think nintendo would make a quick production run of them, since they have to know that they are in demand and going for crazy prices....

Yeah I did the same, got my first one from nintendo.com, I then got my second one from play asia a while back, don't remember it being so expensive though, thought I paid only 50. Any who. If anyone has an extra one they want to sell to me for my buddy, let me know.

Stupid question maybe, but does the difference in quality make up for the price. I have never seen GC with component before. I have a HDTV, if it is lot better I will likely get in the market to find some as well. So I will watch this thread to see the great deals found by our friends here. And to be fair I am not looking to hijack any deal from the original poster, I just find this to be of interest possibly.
