I'm here in Ft. Wayne and was wondering if there are gaming events in the area? I feel a little left out since it seems like everything else is on the East or West coast.

I wouldn't mind finding out about something in Indiana either. Seems like we don't get any of the cool stuff.

And you are so wrong, it hurts. You r immediate neighbor to the east - Ohio - has a shitton of events including CinciClassic (resurrected this year with another next year) and the ever-popular CCAG event (held earlier in the year in Lorain, sorry we missed ya!) And don't forget the annual DP at CP event, where DP members meet at Cedar Point to ride the rides and play the games (in October - there's a thread here somewhere.)

To your immediate southwest in Oklahoma, OKGE is about to happen in a week or so. A bit of a drive perhaps, but you're closer than I am.

The Video Game Summit is next weekend in Lombard, IL - another nearby state. In fact, the Chicago area hosts all kinds of little gettogethers - and often too!

Oh my! How about the Midwest Gaming Classic - held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! Not on either coast that I can see and closer to Indiana yet again!

So, all this BS about not being able to attend anything because "everything is on the coasts" is just that - BS. You have stuff practically in your backyard year-round. You just gotta look for it and go to 'em when they occur.

Now, if you want to attend something litterally in your backyard - actually in Indiana - I know of no such event. You'd better start organizing if you wish it to happen.
