    Default dead SNES PSU

Just doesnt work at all.. dead SNES PSU

Checked the fuse in the SNES, its fine, checked the SNES with another PSU.. it works..

This PSU is dead, I opened it up and checked all the solder connections I could see for dry joints.. all seemed ok, retouched them all anyway

    Still dead..

Anyone any ideas? Can these actually die due to age? I have read that a regular DC power supply can be used.. but im unsure as to what voltage and amps.. and connector type? Id rather fix the original PSU if I can..

    Any help appreciated!

By PSU you mean the power supply unit maybe there is something lose. My Power supply works but I have to hit it since something is lose inside. This is a Pelican adpater.

My original Power Supply stop working and my father fixed it a long time ago but died again.

My guess is that like me you also leave your SNES running on all the time.
