Default No option to delete saved games?

I just bought Lufia & The Fortress of Doom and I can't seem to delete the games that were already saved. It only gives me three options on the menu screen; continue, initial and try again. None of these seem to start me from the beginning of the game. I always start with high lvl characters in a castle.... unless I'm a fool and that is actually the beginning of the game. Help, please!

    hee hee,

initiall is the first time through the game
try again is a new game+ mode (you gain more exp and gold)

the game starts out as a flash back you are sopose to be that strong, just play through that castle and it'll all make sense.

okay, thanks. I figured it might have been a flashback thing but I REALLY didn't want to play the end of the game accidentally. Just me being stupid.

And also, so you know, Lufia II is a prequel to Lufia; you play as the flashback characters in Lufia II.

And yes, that spoils the ending.

For any other game, just pull it in and out of the system 10 times in a row with the power on. Works every time.

Heck, you don't even have to do that. Just bump it with foot whenever you walk across the floor.
