Default anyone have any info on a "game adaptor"

From what i've been told it lets you play mega drive games on us consoles. any one know where any info is or how rare it is or which company made it? The only thing it says on it is "game adaptor" on the front and a message on the back that says not to take it out with the power on.

    Thanks for the help!

I remember reading that there are several different ones. Do you have pictures? Or can you scan the box or adaptor itself?

it's just a pin mapper so you can play jap games in a us/uk machine (cart sizes are differant).

Some were more complicated than that, defeating lockouts due to region differences.

I've got one of those. I don't know how rare they are or what they're worth. I only paid 65¢ for mine in a thrift.

You shouldn't. Getting these may be easy, but it's not as easy as gutting a Gyromite cart to get a quick Famicom adaptor for the NES.

Five bucks may seem like a lot, but some people would pay that or more for the same item. Don't kick yourself over it.

The one I have, iirc has a yellow label and switches for region...I forget the name...maybe Mega Key or something. I wish I could remember!
