Yes, both the GBC and the PlayStation versions.
Played thru in its entirety?
Oh lord no. I couldn't handle that much of it. The GBC one was meh and the PlayStation one had some control issues that bugged the hell out of me.
Beat em up level?
No clue, I never saw anything other than the side scrolling fare that it did at best mehly.
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.
