Default MS admits to problems with early 360 systems

All I have to say is... no sh*t. I guess I wasn't the only one to be on their fourth console since launch. I'm glad they are addressing it. But a quick check of my (most recent) console says it was manufactured in Feb '06. D'oh! Still glad I bought the warranty.

Mine was manufactured in January 06.

Aside from the occasional disc error, I've never had a problem with mine. It doesn't even get hot.

    Guess I got lucky.

My buddy has a 360, but it broke and he didn't have the $140 to replace it due to a large series of unfortunate events one right after another. This will make him VERY happy.
