Default Metal Slug 6 to be included in Metal Slug Anthology

Woah, this is unexpected. Metal Slug 6 just came out a couple weeks ago for the PS2 and they decide to include it in the anthology collection for PSP. Don't know if it'll be in the Wii version but I don't see why it wouldn't.

I just started playing MS6 on PS2 last week and I can say it's by far my favorite of the series. I'd like to hear people bitch about there not being any good games for the PSP once this is out.

Metal Slug 6 is a remarkable improvement in the series. I think I ALMOST like it more the original and MS3.

I really hope its on the wii version, don't see why they wouldn't have it on there. I think it is a great game.

Great to see MS6 on the PSP. Played it at the state fair arcade, and was very impressed. This'll tip the scales for me to buy it now.

I doubt it. Anthology was only announced for PSP and Wii.

I was already looking forward to the Wii version, so this just throws another log on the fire. I'm eager to see how the firing mechanism with the Wiimote works out. Will it become as intuitive as using buttons and joystick, or will it just be a cheesy gimmick that didn't pan out? Guess we'll have to wait on that.

Yeah I got it and I really like the 4 & 5 Collection

but it doesn't help that I really suck at the game and the unlimited continues are nice

It will be coming to the Wii and PSP versions of Anthology. I just got the press release today (well, Friday) and I have to agree, most unexpected news.

I just ordered MS6 for the PS2, but will love having seven (!!) MS games on my PSP. As if six of them wasn't enough.

Yeah this is a pretty ludicrous amount of bang for your buck. Unless you own a Neo Geo with its six games and an Atomiswave there's no excuse to not purchase this compilation on the PSP or Wii (or both if you're an SNK port whore like me).

MS Anthology is easily one of my most anticipated games right now. I'm all over the PSP version the second it's available.
I really want to get the PS2 version of MS6, but I'm having a very hard time finding someone to mod my PS2 in my area.

Was Metal Slug Anthology announced as a launch title for the Wii? If so, that means November 19 just got a lot more expensive for me.

I remember SNK promising that this would be a launch title. Of course, "launch title" means anytime from the day it first appears on shelves through the end of the Christmas season. It's an easy job for them, so there's no reason it couldn't appear in November.
