I've never been to the Classic Gaming Expo, but I've been to the PhillyClassic twice. What are the biggest differences between these two conventions? If you've been to both, which do you like better?

I look at them as two totally different experiences, there are very FEW similarities between them.
PhillyClassic is a gigantic indoor flea market. There are arcade machines to play and auctions but these things are decidedly secondary to the vendor activity, which is very casual. I usually bring LOTS of money to Philly.
CGE is an Expo. The concentration is much more around the keynote speeches by industry legends, the museum, the entertainment, and the auction. There are arcade machines, I'd estimate twice as many as Philly (if last year is any indication) and there are vendors. To me, the "buying stuff" is secondary at CGE. It's more about who you see and what you do while you're there. Plus it's VEGAS, man. So much to do after the show - ask anotherfluke!
They're both great fun, I can't imagine missing either one on any given year.
Oddly enough, this will be the first year in awhile (maybe 6 years?) that I've drawn a pass on E3. I actually got BORED there last year. Go figure.
