Here's the story. I purchased this off eBay, expecting it to be a cosmetically neat mod to replace my personal unit. What I got was this... a cosmetically neat modded unit with a softmod job.
The softmod was NOT in the auction description, and the seller now refuses to email me (go figure.)
So... I really don't want a softmodded xbox to replace my main unit, and I'm not up for hooking up two xboxes at a time... so it's getting sold.
Here's what I can figure out:
- EvoX is installed as the dashboard.
It does come with a number of applications (media center, for one), but comes with NO games - nor will I put any on there.
The audio only seems to come out the optical cable - I don't know if there's a setting that I couldn't find or what. Video is fine, through any kind of hookup.
It only likes really clean discs. I don't know if that's because of the mod or it's just a picky drive.
That's the full disclosure. I'm packaging it with a generic controller, a power cable, an advanced a/v pack (but no cables), and the disc labelled xbox linux.
Taking offers, not looking for much.
Massive UMD Lot Info
I recently got in a wholesale lot of UMDs; these are still sealed in the factory shrinkwrap with security stickers intact.
