does anybody else when they see these in the title get really turned off and have no intention of playing these games?

Not really, I'm quite fond of Virtual-On: Cyber Troopers, Virtua Cop, Virtua Fighter and Virtua Tennis ect. I'm more turned off by games that have NFL, NBA or FIFA in the title.

I agree. SEGA's "virtua" line of games have always been fun to me.
When I see Virtua or Cyber in a title, I get weak in the knees, and start hooting and hollaring. Kind of like monkey noises. I am unable to control it.
When I hard Virtual-On Cybertroopers was coming to the Sega Ages 2500 series on the Japanese PS2, I was in the kitchen dancing.

Actually, yes. It's a very 90s thing to put in a title, for sure. It just makes me think, "Oh, well here's a generic-ass game with a stupid title."does anybody else when they see these in the title get really turned off and have no intention of playing these games?
I also get turned off by any sports or racing titles...they all sound so damn generic, and they all are, !
Now, there are a few I'll play, like the Kart games and Super Dodge Ball and things like that, but in general I get more bored playing sports games or racing games of any kind than watching grass grow.

The original title of Virtua Quest was Virtua Fighter Cyber Generation.
I think that says it all.

To be honest I avoid all Virtua Fighter and Sports games. The Virtua Cop games are the only ones I like. >_>
Virtua = win
I still love playing VF4 Evo for PS2
i just hate that polygon crap, but thats just me.
Actually I still see "virtua" as shiny and futuristic I guess I just remember when games like Virtua Racing and Virtua Fighter 1 were brand new and high tech
anyone remember Cyber Tiger for n64 / psx ?
i love the cover art for that game.
