Default Will PS2 and Xbox be in "Classic Gaming"?

When the PS3 and Wii come out, will PS2 and Xbox discussion be moved to the classic gaming forum? How long do you think it will take for DP to consider PS2, Xbox and GCN classic?

I would think PS2, Xbox and Gamecube will continue to be in "Modern Gaming" until they stop making new games for those systems. To me, Classic Gaming always seemed to be for systems that aren't available at retail anymore.

I think the split forums are more for organizing discussion than anything. I would imagine that modern gaming will keep PS2 through current for at least another generation or two, simply because the conversation is already taking place here.

I almost think we've got three generations of video gaming at this juncture:

    2D gaming (Up to N64/PS)
    3D gaming (Up to PS3/360)
    HD gaming (PS3/360)

In regards to our current setup, I'd probably have no problems with PS2 stuff remaining or moving, as long as they're still making games for it. Besides, the PSP will have new games for a few years yet and it's pretty much a PS2 anyway!
