the earlier one for xbox was pretty lacking. i don't think it sold very well (its $5 new at eb now), but i'd pick it up if it would encourage tecmo to release another, larger volume.
ps. please include Wild Fang (aka Tecmo Knight).

Much to my chagrin, Tecmo Knight will never make it because it would get the release a pretty easy M rating. Tecmo has a bunch of untapped goodness though. It's a shame they don't seem to have another compilation planned. Even something that included home releases would be welcome, or a Ninja Gaiden compilation that has all of the classic games (i.e., both the NES/SNES versions of Ninja Gaiden through Ninja Gaiden III, the awful Genesis game, TG-16 port, etc.).
also, this is a bit off topic...
but did anyone notice on Growl (the Taito Legends 2 version) the enemies' body parts didn't fly around when they were hit by rockets and grenades? maybe i'm getting a bit foggy in my memories but i thought they did on the genesis version.
Yes, they flew around on the Genesis port, although they looked more like rocks. The arcade version of the game never did that. I have the import only Taito Memories Vol. 1, which also has Runark/Growl, and it's the same scenario, no flying body parts.
Back on topic, I think it would be wise if Tecmo released another arcade compilation, and actually made a multi-platform release this time (PS2?) so the game would turn a profit.
Will taito legends 2 be released in the USA?
i gave up on taito legends 2 making it here so i modded my ps2 and bought a UK copy.
off topic again, does anyone think Namco will make a big compilation for modern consoles. there's the half dozen or so ps1 packs, but they should take a note from Capcom who had the same thing going on and re-release all those games under the same disc.

Does anyone here know it there has been a Tecmo pack released that included all its classic sports games?
You outta get the two jap versions as well! Taito Memories Goukan and Jekan (I think are the names). They're very different as well.Originally Posted by pragmatic insanester
I was under the impression that the Japanese Namco Museum 50th Anniversary had a very large number of games on it compared to the sad rehash we got in the US (which didn't even have the "museum" component on it).Originally Posted by pragmatic insanester
