Default PAL Saturn Mortal Kombat Trilogy?

Just a quick question. I've seen Mortal Kombat Trilogy on the Saturn in PAL format through the rarity guide, but I don't recall it ever being released.

As some of you might know, I'm very close to having a complete Saturn colletction, but I've only ever seen NTSC US versions of this game, and various versions of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3.

Does anyone know if Mortal Kombat Trilogy WAS released in PAL format, and if so, where I can find a copy?

    Cheers

Here's an European version for auction in Australia of all places. Or is that an Aussie version? The ratings number is the European one, so I dunno.

No, unfortunately that's Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, which is quite common.

The one I'm after is PAL Mortal Kombat Trilogy. I've never even seen PAL boxart for it, but the US version looks like this:

The USA Versions typically sell for $40 - $50, and are kinda rare. The PAL version is probably worth double that at least if it was ever released...but I've never seen one since it was apparently released.

I have seen the game on ebay.co.uk every now and then
and do know of a owner of this game, its hard to get last
auctio I saw had it go for 1oo pounds, it is my personal Holy grail game!

IIRC the box art is te same as the US cover but in the standard
    PAL black instead of white.

Cheers for the info. At least I know it did come out here, now it's a case of finding it.

*sigh* just as I was nearly completing my Saturn collection, that one pops up.. back to 8 games left for a complete set.

yeah, the MKT has been released in Europe, and it usually goes for similar amount as the NTSC version, maybe a little bit more.

It did come out in Australia in Pal format. I picked mine up in a thrift store last year. The cover also had MK2 and UMK so got all 3 for a couple of $. I think MK2 is actually rarer in pal/Aus, I've only ever seen my copy, in the day i bought the US release on import.

    they all play great

M15fit, its funny you say that as I see UMK3 often and even
MKII pops up every now and then in the wild although I have
yet to see MK trilogy outside of my friends copy, different areas i suppose

Yeah, MK Trilogy is one of the rarest PAL Saturn games. Last one I saw (about a month or two ago) finished at around £40.

Oh also, from what I've seen, Australian Saturn games are identical to European ones but have an Ozisoft barcode sticker on the back (which can be removed fairly easily if you want to turn it into a "proper" Euro version ).

I dont frequent ebay at all, I can seriously say that MK2 is the mortal kombat ive seen least of here. I think mk2 had already been released on the 16bit machines for a while, the saturn had a late release here, could have something to do with it

I've got a mint copy of it.
Sold a spare one on ebay last year for 45£
What's odd with this game is that box text and instruction manual are not in the same languages. If I remember well, there is one more language in the manual than on the box.
A guy from spain had asked me the question when I sold mine on ebay, otherwise, I wouldn't even have noticed this fact.
I assume there might be two different versions of the game, one with box text and manual fitting the other not (both of mine didn't fit)
