    Warlocked-SNES-boxed
    Mortal Kombat 3-SNES-boxed

    $2 each.

Apparently a rental stored dumped all their old rental games to GoodWill. They had a bunch of loose NES games, but they were sunfaded. Also had a few boxed Gen and a few boxed SNES sports games, but I didn't get them.

Undoubtedly my best day in Genesis collecting yet(referring to yesterday). Some of you may or may not know that I am currently(and slowly as I have no steady income) trying to pursue a complete Genesis collection, without spending more than $5 on a single game. So far so good(i might have spent more than that on one at some point but thats before I decided to do this). But yesterday, I finally started getting some harder to find ones at prices that are under $5.

Count these as finds if you will, or not, whatever, they were all in some form of me buying or trading for them.

From Kid Icefor a total of $20)
    Battletoads/Double Dragon - CIB - R4
    Funny World & Balloon Boy - CIB - R4
    Hit The Ice - CIB - R5
Izzy's Quest for the Olympic Rings - Sealed
Justice League Task Force - Boxed
Lightening Force: Quest for the Darkstar - CIB(box damage) - R4
    Quad Challenge - Boxed - R4
    Taz-Mania - Boxed
    X-Men - CIB
    X-Men 2 - Boxed

    From GrandAmChandler
---Both are loose carts, both done in trades(the latter in a trade cash deal)

Michael Jackson's Moonwalker - R3(personally find it harder to find than that)
    Action 52 - R7(traded 2 nes games and $3, so total cost for me....$3.89)

This might just be possible to do.

    Hey everybody!

I'm a little late on this first group of games. Suikoden Tactics, Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life -Special Edition-, and Dig Dug: Digging Strike were from the TRU B2G1F deal. Trauma Center was from Circuit City earlier this week.

Flea market finds for the day are Galaxy Force II (GEN, complete), Alien Syndrome (NES, boxed), Amagon (NES), Super Smash TV (SNES), Total Carnage (SNES), and Power Rangers: The Movie (SNES), for $2 a piece.

Last stop of the day was at a local game store since I was feeling kind of spendy. Wound up getting R-Type (SMS, complete) for $4.99, Actraiser (SNES, complete) for $11.99, and Panic Restaurant (NES) for $15.99

I love Taito's NES games, they all rock! Too bad the best ones are rare!

Few things from the flea market this morning...

Atari VCS - Dual Command combination joystick / paddle x2 ($1 each)
PlayStation - Early prototype PlayStation 3 controller. Naa, Alps Interactive controller ($2)

The Dual Command controllers have been there for awhile and I've had my eye on them but they were always with a system - and the last thing I need is another VCS. But they were alone this time and were only a dollar a piece. One of them works great but the other needs the joystick rebuilt as the "fingers" that make contact for directions are all but gone on two sides. Haven't tested the paddles as all my VCS games are boxed up save for a copy of Asteroids.

I've always loved the Alps Interactive PS1 controller and next to the Namco NeGcon it's my favorite third party input device. It screams custom although it's a stock item, best controller for playing Nitrous Oxide with.

These came today as well, both for my girlfriend. $1 and $10 respectively. She's been wanting a copy of Felix the Cat for awhile and I grabbed a copy of Casino Kid for her since we both use AIM icons that I made from heavily reworking Casino Kid sprites...

Lots of stuff this week but nothing really relevant to the site. :P

I got these two games in the mail yesterday:

$16 shipped, but for some reason VF3tb's videos in the history section WON'T RUN! They freeze after a few seconds. I don't know what's causing this bug! Is it my system? The disc? WHAT?! >_<

NES boxed games, all complete but without styrofoam except for Mario (that's just the box and game sleeve). $2 each, Mario was free.

I got an email from Amazon this morning saying the PC monitor I had ordered from them 3 weeks ago was going to take an extra 1-2 weeks on top of their estimate of the 16th of November.

So I cancelled the order then went into town and got one with the same specs for £10 more. Simple. I'd rather pay a bit more than wait an extra month for one to come.

19" Widescreen next to my old 15" 4:3.

I realised when I got home that I had only bought it for the Xbox 360 but I think it's definitely worth it.

First time I've found anything worth calling a find in quite some time! All from a thrift store:

Monkey Island 2, Freddy Pharkas: Frontier Pharmacist for Macintosh, $1 each

Take a look at everything that was inside the boxes!

And inside one of the boxes:

    (LucasArts magazine/ad from 1992)

And a Virtual Boy for $4!!

Now to open it up and see if it works

    SWEET!

It works, AND... inside the box... SEVEN (7) GAMES!!!!!

    Wario World
    Galactic Pinball
    Red Alarm
    Virtual League Baseball
    Mario CLash
    Mario's Tennis
    Teleroboxer

Are any of those games any good? I know next-to-nothing about Virtual Boy... only that it gives lots of people headaches hehe

Good LORD. You lucky bastard. LucasArts and Sierra Mac games go for TONS of money on eBay, especially complete and in that condition.

Some of the best games on the platform and Mario Clash will bring in some good money if you resell it. There's a review of Warioland over at my site (click www button) by FullCircle of these forums. Galactic Pinball, Red Alarm, and Teleroboxer are my favorite games for the system. (well, that and the Japanese V-Tetris)

In other news, the paddles for my Coleco Gemini controllers work perfectly.

Ah yes, now we only need FF6 Advance and we can put the GBA to a peaceful rest.
These cartridges are dirty as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!
