BIGMIKE: Virtual Pinball for the Genesis is fun and great because you can retain several created pinball layouts. One of my favorite Pinball games.

FantasiaWHT: Is it just me or do VB boxes seem to always be beaten up to some extent whenever you get them from. It's like a law for them to be crushed, folded, deformed art, or some cosmetic problem. Also be sure to post those two PC games over in the Classic Computing (Forum Du Jour) find thread.

I went to a company quarterly meeting in another city yesterday and decided to wonder off to a few stores while out there so I wouldn't need to go out that way on Saturday (save gas, time, and money ).
    Gameboy:
    Wario Blast
    Kirby's Dreamland
    Kirby's Dreamland (JPN)
    James Bond 007
    Bomberman GB
->Each $1 and loose, 3 came with GB cartridge cases.

    Saturn:
Soviet Strike (C - $1) Flawless disc, manual a bit warped but that's normal for SAT games without the foam insert.

    Gamecube:
Resident Evil Zero (C - $5) Tip top shape, just need to clean disc 1, has some stuff that comes off easily.

I'm amazed one store had Dreamland both US and JPN versions, either a collector dumped the 2 versions off or someone just happened to buy both for an odd reason. I played both and look be the exact same except title screen and cartridge artwork (My god the JPN one is so dull).

FantasiaWHT that is the best virtual boy find i've seen here. Cheap, Boxed (Complete?) And with some of the best VB games..

I paid about $80 for all of my VB stuff (3 systems, 2 stands & eyeshades, 3 controllers, 2 battery packs, one AC adapter tap and 8 games, One of those games being a duplicate) And that is a good deal, But you stole it off of whoever (Or whatever store) You got it from.

Wario World would bring you in $20 and mario clash would bring $35! I think you'd get $150 for all of that if you sold it!

Found a boxed Microvision at Savers for $0.99. It includes the games Block Buster and Pinball. Unfortunately the box's innards are missing. No idea if it works, since I don't have any 9-volt batteries handy. Cool system regardless.

Uggg, I went on a small spending spree today. I went to a store where I was expecting Unreal 2004 to be waiting for me but he had sold it, which is partially my fault because I didn't ask for him to hold it. There wasn't anything in the place I was really looking for but some nifty items. After there I ran to Circuit City and in their bin found:
    Gamecube:
Time Splitters: Future Perfect $14 new/sealed
    Playstation2:
    Space Channel 5 Special Edition $10 new/sealed

Both were new and although I was there for SC5 I've been wanting TS:FP for awhile and that was just too cheap to let go. So I went to a Gamestop afterwards that didn't have crap for me so after that a bunch of friends were off to IHOP for dinner. Several of us decided to hit Walmart to see if any nifty things were there so off we went. Over there a friend found a handful of DVDs in the 2/$11 bin and went nuts but in the game section I saw:
    Gamecube:
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance $15 new/sealed

Just couldn't pass it up! It's the absolute cheapest I've seen and for brand new it was like a steal. After wondering down the isle I went weak and on impulse I became a PS2 owner. I had been thinking for the past few months about finally dipping into getting a PS2 with the new silver slim edition (to match my silver GC ) and touch the few RPGs I've bought for it the past few months.

So that's it. Although it wasn't a find of classic games it is a new world of gaming opened to me, even if I will in 1 week be a generation behind again. :P

I went "thrift storing" yesterday in hopes of finding random gaming goodness.

The very first shop I stopped at had a Genesis II with both cables and two controllers. Got it home and tested it...it worked. =)

Oh, did I mention it was $4.99?

My wallet is now crying after the Book & Music Exchange ripped it a new one, but here's what I got:

    Okami (mint, complete): $30
    Fighter Stick SN (loose): $5
translucent blue Dreamcast Millennium Edition controller (loose): $8
    Sega Marine Fishing (complete): $6
random SNES games for the bundle I'm building to sell to a guy I work with - Super Mario All-Stars, Fatal Fury 2, Super Street Fighter 2, Killer Instinct, and Revolution X (don't ask me why he wanted the last one; sometimes there's just no accounting for taste) - ~$27
Metroid Prime w/ Bonus disc (complete): $5
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes NP guide: $5

I have Okami now. I'm happy.

    Today's finds:

The Sims 2 Holiday Edition CIB (Windows) - $5
Flight Simulator X Deluxe Edition (Windows, SEALED) - $5 (Why'd I get it at that price? The person that sold me that The Sims 2 collection figured it wasn't worth that much... when there were other boxed copies of the regular version with a $40 tag. He didn't see them. Wheee!

The Island of Dr. Weird (CD) - .50
    Demon Gate - 666 Levels for Doom & Doom II - .50
Classics Volume One (Dos, contains Jetfighter II, Spectre and Oh No! More Lemmings!) - $1
    PS2 Network Adaptor Startup Disc 2.0 - $1

I also found a loose PSX Demo Disc... 1.17, I think. It's really scratched and needs a polishing, but it looks okay.

bags, manuals, everything. Aquired from the goodwill for 12.99.

After I saw system I started shaking and freaking out! I managed to talk them down to 12.99 from 16.00 because there was no nes, but thats not a big because I have 7 spares...
