Default For Sale: Atari 2600 Air Lock Prototype/Sampler

Not sure if this catridge is a sampler or a full on prototype, but I will take a bunch of pictures tommorow if there is any interst in owning this interesting peice.

Basically it has the company logo printed on a white label very clearly showing DATA AGE in huge lettering. Then there is a white stamp that is fading out that reads "SAMPLE"... Front label is a worn similar white label that plainly reads AIRLOCK..

What do things such at these go for these days? I'm not really into the prototype market so I'm not really sure if I should sell it for money to buy things I'm more interested in or hang onto it. Any opinions? offers? insight on the item itself?

Also am I allowed by rule to host my own pictures here?

    Sincerely,
    Frank

Welp so far I got a decent offer of $85, I'll give it a few days to see what people want to pay.

Mind you, later today I'm going to test the cart and compare it to an original. See if there are any differences. And get some high quality pictures of it to link to.

    Sincerely,
    Frank

Just an update, I tested the cartridge and it works PERFECTLY... I havent noticed any differences between this and the released version.

Anyways the highest bid I currently have is at $120... I am probably going to sell this on Thursday, so if your interested please drop me a line.

    One more update.

As I further inspected the cartridge, I discovered the whole thing was built around an old Combat cartridge. So I started to worry it might not be legit.

I did a little research on Atariprotos.com and several people chimed in that Datage did indeed make Sample cartridges around old Combat cartridges. I would find it odd that something that looks so legit, Altho if you want I can dig out teh circuit board for ya. However not sure what potential damage I could do to the label. I'd hate to mess it up.

If anybody wants more information, shoot me a PM. Current high bid at $120, and a few people chiming in that dataage did indeed build old samples around combat carts.
