Default FS/T: More than a few games. The end of an era...

    My complete trade list: Here.

Other stuff I'm considering parting with (but for no less than the figures listed): Here.

I'll ship *anywhere in the world* (even to South America, Europe, and Asia), except to the African continent, and I'll try to get the shipping charges as accurate as possible. Post or PM if you have any questions...counter-offer if the prices seem a bit on the plus side.

Edit 12-23-06: The end of an era...

A certain primarily old-school gamer, one day a few years back, saw a few NES games at an EB Games in Orlando, Florida... Seeing them, he purchased them rather quickly, as he figured they were excellent deals (Dragon Warrior for $3.99, StarTropics for $2.99, and Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt for 29¢). With those three games, plus the few systems and games he had at home (about 6 systems and 70-75 games), he began a collection, on a mission to find the best of the best in games. He discovered RPGs would be among the most challenging to find and the most rewarding to play, so he made a shopping list that primarily consisted of RPGs. He began to buy anything and everything from his list (and some cheaper items that weren't on his list), $5 here, $10 there, $20 somewhere else, $15 at a different place, etc., until he had quite a sizable collection some four and a half years later (about 120 systems, in the neighborhood of 830-850 games). Then, he began to realize, as by this time he had a pretty decent girlfriend, and one he was planning on settling down with in three to four years: "I don't have the money to continue this...I'm addicted to buying video games, and I really need to stop." It was taking a toll on everything about him, his work life, his home life, and his relationships with God and those around him. So he thought for a few long minutes, and decided he would sell the great majority of what he had, even if it meant taking a loss in some cases on what he had invested in it. Much of his rarer stuff, and most of his not-so-rare stuff, systems, games, strategy guides, some of which he knew he wouldn't see again, it all had to go...

This is the story of Matt Bellinghiere, the one you all know and love as mb7241, here and at various other sites. Due to situations that I'm taking control of, and because I've spent far too much and put myself into the red, I am officially quitting the majority of the collecting scene. As for what I'm keeping, I plan on keeping only one of each system I own (counting imports separately, and not counting the Wii, as that's already pended out), what accessories are necessary for those systems (and maybe a couple extras where memory cards are concerned), and game-wise...most of my shmups (I'm seriously debating selling Zanac X Zanac), my Zeldas (of course), Dragon Quests (of course), Final Fantasies, Lufias, Marios, Suikodens, Tetrises, and one of each of my Lunars (possibly some of my other RPGs, as well), and (most of) their guides. Yes, this means my Panzer Dragoon Saga, a game for which I held out for three and a half years, will likely be up for sale. I haven't set prices on anything just yet, but be prepared for something about 90% of what it actually goes for. My entire regular trade list (the link at the left in my sig) will either see eBay (IQ, MvC 2, maybe one or two others) or be clearance-priced. My collection trade list (the link at the right in my sig) will be expanded beyond even my own belief, and there will be price cuts soon to follow on things already on that list.

As much as it saddens me to report this, it's the end of an era...my era...as a fellow video game collector. I have invested in excess of $7000 over the past four years into my collection, and now it's time for me to get my returns on my investment. Feel free to send me reasonable offers on anything that I didn't mention I'd be keeping (any lowball offers will be laughed at and either discussed or declined). In another time, in another place, we'll probably meet again, but until then, it's done. The only games/guides I'm left looking for are any games from the series I'm keeping (my highest (read: only) wants right now are a Sega CD Backup RAM cartridge, a complete Dragon Warrior IV NES and its guide, and Zelda: Twilight Princess GC and its guide). But with those exceptions, unless I see something really good and/or rare at a price I deem acceptable, I will not be buying any more games. It's done.
