Maybe I'm a bit behind the times, but ePSXe works fine for my PS emulation needs. I just dump my game discs into image files using CloneCD, pump up the graphics settings, and enjoy. (That's another thing I like about it: the plugins. Everything can be customized to your system's abilities.) Nothing like a high-res game of Pepsiman during breakfast!

I own one. It's complete crap.

The emulation is INCREDIBLY slow and also incredibly inaccurate (as I recall, the sounds, particularly in TG16 and SMS are horrendous). I do believe it lets you run the ROMS off of a CD-R but after one or two hours with the emulators I put it back on the box and stored it away.

Oh yeah one last thing if you're going to get one anyway. It's like early Game Sharks in that you need an early model PSX that allows you to plug it into the expansion port in the back of the machine to get it to work.

I used to hav eone of those even though I never owned a Playstation. Some guy gave it to me along with some other stuff as collateral for some records I lent him and then I never got my records back of course. Psh.

It Might Be NES is supposedly a pretty nice homebrew NES emulator on the Playstation. You might look into that. I expect there's some others as well and they're probably better than the ones on the EmulatorZ thing.
