Default Controller Port Door On Wii Fell Off

Well, that was quick. The first time I try Cube games on the Wii, and the controller port door falls off. I didn't notice until I unplugged my Wave Bird.

It looks like the two hinges go back in, but heck if I can get it to work. Has anyone run into this yet, and know how to get it back on?

    Thanks.

I havent had it happen yet.In the manual it tells you to take them off when using the ports.I think thats on the flaps too.If its not broken it should be a easy fix.

when i first opened the box after i got my wii, that flap/door was loose. i just gingerly pushed the two hinges of the flap back into the wii and it has stayed connected since.

Yup, they do that so you can lay it flat (horizontally) without the door hinges propping up the left side.

Thanks guys. I just took the other one off and threw both in the box for safe keeping.

The Memory Card door lies flat, without having to come off. I wonder why the Controller Port door doesn't. Oh well, it is better for me to have the Wii horizontal, as it is much easier for my to plug the Wave Bird in that way.

And playing Cube games on the system is great, anyways!
