Virtua Fighter 5 heads to the xbox 360 in late summer 2007.

The MGS4 rumor last week was that Konami wasn't giving Kojima a choice in the matter. They were insisting that a 360 version would be necessary for the US and European markets. I think this is a no-brainer.
Anyway, this is all good news. I'm glad VF5 is hitting the 360...it looks incredible.

Excellent!!!
Ouch poor PS3.If MGS4 come I wont have any reason to want one.
This is great news for 360 fans. When I heard this I was overjoyed. I have yet to encounter VF5 in the arcades and am curious how it holds up to its predecessors.
There's still a lot of interesting content coming for PS3. It may be easy to write the system off now, but we all may be singing a different tune in a year. Never ever count Sony out. They've taken on better systems and won.
I truly hope Sony gives me at least one reason to spend $700 (system, game, HDMI cable). As of now I'm not convinced. The continual bleeding of exclusive content doesn't help their case.

This is truly a suprise. Sega clearly needs the cash--and sees the growing American 360 install base. But this still leaves just two PS3 exclusives (MGS4 and FFXIII) to convince me to fork over $700 bucks. That sure isn't a lot. They need some pre God of War III hype just about now. I sure wouldn't be surpised to hear an announcement for something from Sony just to counter-act the amount of exclusives their losing. In the long run, it does look like MGS is going to jump ship too.
I agree the PS3 still has a long way to go before I count it out. But I think 3DO owners were saying the same thing circa 1995. At some point--not now, not January or Feburary---that price is going to KILL them.
If us---the hardest of the hardcore---aren't convinced its worth it how are they going to convince to general public outside of brand name alone? Early adopters almost always pave the way. And we're currently paving a future for the Wii60.
Frickin' sweet. Now I won't have to pay through the butt to play VF5.
This is great news. Virtua Fighter is FAR too good a franchise to remain locked to any single console. Frankly, I'd love to see them release Wii, DS, and PSP versions too, just so more people can appreciate this game. After all, there aren't a whole lot of 1-on-1 fighting games left these days...

IMO the only title that will make or break PS3 is Final Fantasy XIII, sure MGS4 will be nice, but consider the fanbase of FF, even if FFXIII is exclusive on PS3 for a year, I'm sure many more people will wait for XB360 version, no need to spend $500+ just to play one game.
what happens if Kojima says no to the 360 version...he want it for the PS3
I still wouldn't be surprised if MGS 4 is on the 360 but I still doubt it,
but I still think that it won't come out for the 360 because of the game and It's really one of the biggest titles for the PS3, it shall be interesting if it does come out for the 360
