How is it with US TVs, do they support PAL signals? "All" PAL TVs support NTSC signals, you must have a fairly old PAL TV if it doesnt support it.
Thanks for your response. That easily ends my debate as to whether I should get the game in question or not.
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.

Ok, i wonder why it isnt the same with NTSC TVs.
Btw, isnt there also a way to play imports without modchip, sorta like a freeloader for PS2? Pretty sure i've seen one.
There are devices that can get around the region lock-out like a Freeloader does, but a stock US PS2 doesn't have a converter built-in to change the outgoing signal from PAL to NTSC. I finally bit the bullet a couple years ago and just bought a PAL PS2 with a voltage converter and then got a used Sony video monitor from a production company I worked with that can display in both PAL and NTSC. It works but it wasn't super cheap.
I can't justify the cost to get a set up like that for one game, and I am not sure about a wanting to pay for a mod chip either. It turns out to be expensive for one game.
I wonder:
Since Japan is NTSC, can you play Japanese games without mod?
