Default Anyone have a 3 in 1 Genesis/CD/32X power cord?

I've seen a few of these on ebay, anyone got one? Do they work? I'd really like to buy one to save some much coveted wiring space, but am afraid it'll fry my toys. Are these legit or some cheap chinese crap? Any information is appreciated, thanks guys.

most of the "legit" wires we get are made in china fwiw. I havent tried the one you are talking about, but i have tried a few similar ones(xbx/ps2/gamecube 3 in one) and it is fantastic.
It is pitch black. If you continue you are likely to be eaten by a grue.

I assume he means not that it's an adapter that can be used *EITHER* for the Genesis, Sega CD or 32X, but that it can power all three at the same time. This is something I'd always thought of making myself, but never got around to and now all I have is a plain old Genesis, so I don't think about it anymore.

As long as the adapter was 9 volt and provided enough amperage, I don't see why it wouldn't work. To stay totally within specs, the adapter would have to be like 3 amps, I think, which would be pretty huge. I bet you could get away with much less, though, like maybe 2 amps or possibly even less. I never tested the draw on any of the systems, but it would be easy to find out.

Got a link to one of these on eBay?
