An idea for an upgrade of the Daily finds topic

I was thinking about an interesting feature I may add to the finds.
You know, eBay keeps auctions for some time after the end. Then everything disappear. You don't know the ending price, no idea about final value, where did it go and so on.
I think it would be great to know the seller (mostly when an auction is cancelled) the winner and how did it end. You know the past values, if it sold, who won it...
What do you think about it?
Should I spend more time adding:
-seller name and location
-winner name and locaton
-ending price (BIN, cancelled, relisted, unsold)

Let me know. This would mean editing every old post.

I think it's a great idea to save that information, log it somewhere and have it documented.

Example above I copy and pasted from you. I made a log of my eBay wins, seller, time, bid and all that good stuff. I'm the type who likes to have that stuff on archive... one day looking through it will be fun.

Really, I recommend keeping a gaming log of what you buy, when, where, how much, etc. I regret not doing it with my Saturn and all the games I bought for it from 2001-2005. But last year when I got back into the SNES, I started a log, and now it's like 60+ pages thick.

I save some auctions (the items that interest me)...if you have adobe acrobat 7.0 you can save the entire auction in a .pdf format...it isn't really accessable to everyone but it's a nice personal record to keep.

I usually just save the info from my emailed eBay notices to folders on my PC.

I usually delete the bid info, but keep the "you won" notice (thinking that's moot because I have invoice), invoice, and payment info... and any other correspondence if there was a problem. Not TOO much of a pain in the ass as I usually wait to do a bunch at a time when going thru old mail files. I try to highling and move info for the same item all at once when moving files.

If I use the game title and seller for the folders the details are pretty much at my fingertips whenever I want it. You could also add in the ending cost if wanted.

I have recently started keeping a SEPARATE LIST of SELLERS TO AVOID on my DESKTOP.

I wonder if this would also help with INSURANCE values... just in case...
