    Default Japanese Sega Saturn Question

I am a UK resident and have just bought a japanese sega saturn console.
I have set up all the connections and everything works fine, but the picture on my T.V screen is in black and white. How do I get it in color?

    Thanks

    P.S The T.V I refer to is a 60 htz T.V

Some TVs won't accept an RGB-signal. It may works with a scart/cinch-cable.

What kind of connection are you using?

    SCART. RGB, A/V cables, RF?

Possibility is infinity! You must be satisfied!

I'm using the, Red, White and Yellow connection directly to the T.V.
But I just found out that I need a NTSC to PAL converter in order for it to display color.
    Thanks for the responses.

I thought 60htz was an NTSC TV?

    Isn't 50 htz PAL?

I'm not too sure, but I always thought it was a 60 htz T.V.
The reason why is because whenever I play Shenmue on the Dreamcast it asks me to select 50 htz or 60 htz. I always chose 60 htz and it plays in color.
However on the PS2 when given the same option - I needed to buy a 60 htz scart cable in order to play games in color, otherwise it would be in black and white.

there's is thing called PAL-60 which is by all means the NTSC-60 but some old PAL TV still have problem with NTSC-60...
    Try on another TV.

By the way the connection you have the standard composiet connection.
Yellow RCA for Composite video signal and red and white RCA sockets for stereo sound...

    So how'd it turn out?
